Things are only just now starting to get green in the area of Michigan where I live, but the flowers are finally blooming and soon my lilac bushes will be, too, and I’ll be in heaven. But for now, I have wood violets, grape hyacinths, regular hyacinths, daffodils, and the crab apple blossoms.
What’s is like where you are? Be sure to check out Jess, Deelylah, and Kris‘ spring, too!
Your daffodils look better than mine! *sigh* I think mine need thinned so they will bloom. I have lots of leaves, no blooms. But the tulips . . . another week I think those will bloom. I see big fat buds. The snowball bush is showing green, as is the lilac bush. The robin has it’s nest finished and occupied. They get quite sassy when I walk out on my porch. They build on the gutter on the south end of the porch – every year – then get upset when I want to porch sit. I love to porch sit in the spring and watch all the fresh things.
btw – great pics! Thank you.
We have a mourning dove who builds in our eaves every year. And every year, the winds come and blow her nest out. It makes me so sad but they never learn. And we keep trying to keep them from building up there, but it’s awkward and brick and there’s not a lot we can do. 🙁
I should live at your house. I love grape hyacinth and lilacs. I used to have ‘normal’ hyacinth, but Oldest said they smell like stale beer. LOL. I think she’s just weird.
Um…I think she’s weird, too – LOL!
Love the photos. I knew you’d have lots of your pretty flowers.Well done.
I only have flowers that agree to come up every year after I plant them. You know…without me having to do anything about it.
