First off, before I get to this review, I have to say, “WOW”. This story grabbed me and would not allow me to put it down! Immortal Curse by Bronwyn Green is a fascinating romance that has the main character Emma seeing a ghost. Emma, with her special abilities, has the power that allows her to converse with the ghost. Emma just knew when she set her eyes on Ian that her life would never be the same.
Ian {ghost} trapped forever, hates witches, they cannot be trusted. So when he came up against a stubborn, sassy witch, his interest surprised him. Ian’s story is heart breaking, his love for the children so touching.
I was laughing at the interactions between the characters; so much fun. Meaghan and Rowan are just a hoot! Ms. Green will these two have their own story? Oh I have to say I just love the pink Ouija board. *g*
The story had so many emotional aspects, which in turn made it easier to connect with the characters. There is a point in this book that I felt Emma’s heart bottom out. I truly felt the sadness pour off the pages.
Bronwyn Green is romance at its best! She will dazzle you with her writing wit, and heats your desires and passions, all by the time you turn that last page. If you have not read Bronwyn Green’s work, what are you waiting for?

I grabbed another of Ms. Green’s books to read over the festive period because, damn, I meant it when I said no one else was allowed to touch them. Those books are mine! I wasn’t disappointed—didn’t think I would be anyway. Ms. Green’s voice suits me and I know I’m going to get a good plot and decent characters. Can’t ask for more than that, sugar!
Emma’s sister and her friend are using an Ouija board in an old schoolhouse in an attempt to see ghosts. Emma can see them, always has, so when a sexy ghost-man appears in her house she isn’t surprised. He asks her to get her sister out of the schoolhouse, and Emma is happy to oblige because then the ghost fella will go away. Problem is, Emma’s sister goes back to the schoolhouse, which means the ghost visits Emma again.
Emma is attracted to the ghost, Ian, with his Irish brogue and sexy-as-hell body. Hell, I was! She goes to the schoolhouse and helps some children pass over—and damn, I cried like a baby. She also helps Ian through the veil even though she’d like nothing more than for him to stay with her, ghost or not, but things don’t go quite right. Ian has been cursed, and it seems the witch who cursed him was good at what she did because he just couldn’t move on.
Emma has to find a way to help him, and she does, although something surprising happens. You think I’m gonna mention that and spoil the plot? Let’s just say there are more tears to come after the passing over scene that really tug at your heartstrings. Who’d think a love affair with a ghost could be so real?
I rooted for these two all the way through, because, let’s face it, they had the impossible going on. One lover alive, the other dead. Life and death sucks!
