Best Laid Plans is a fast paced romance between two individuals with enough baggage to take a month long holiday. Every aspect of Zander and Tessa is alive and breathing on the pages, Bronwyn Green leaves no flaw, no matter how ugly, hidden. I loved the way they interact, it’s real and gritting, and the chemistry is hot. They’re drawing closer together even when their arguing and pushing each other away. I don’t know how she does it, but it’s a faultless glide that takes no effort to believe. With the added conflict of Zander’s job and Tessa’s stalker, the story has you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next thing to happen. And even when you think you know what it is, Ms. Green surprises you. Her skill at bringing the story to life is enviable. Vivid images flash through your mind as you read her words. Tessa is a hero that every one will love, she’s strong and tough but soft and vulnerable at the same time, very few authors can pull that off but Ms. Green does it with ease. Zander is a hunk and makes me want to head back to school if only all the professors were like him. No tweed coats in sight. Best Laid Plans is a wonderful book full of romance and suspense, and with every twist and turn you hold your breath, waiting for the next scene to unfold. I found this book so enjoyable it’ll be one of the ones I read again and again. After this I’d have no problems buying a book just because it has Bronwyn Green’s name on the cover.

BEST LAID PLANS is an awesome story that readers will not be able to put down until they’ve read every last word. Bronwyn Green delves into the emotional aspect and dangers associated with stalkers which are often not taken seriously by anyone who doesn't knows the victim until it’s too late. I couldn’t help but love Zander and Tessa. It’s so obvious that they are perfect together you can’t help but cheer them as they move from strictly friends to lovers. This book is chock full of exciting scenes that will keep you guessing at who the stalker may be. Beautifully written Ms. Green! I’ll definitely be adding a copy of BEST LAID PLANS to my keeper shelf.

There are so many plot threads that are pulled together admirably by Bronwyn Green. Tessa had been molested and chose not to report it. The effect the incident had on her is still evident. Zander too had violence touch his life. With both still feeling the scars, only together can they heal. Zander was perfect for Tessa. Smart, determined and sexy, he drew Tessa out and gave her the love and understanding she needed to heal. Rape is a very personal crime and sometimes more damage is done in the aftermath. Powerful and gripping Best Laid Plans brings to life the true effects of rape. Kudos to Bronwyn Green for writing such an intriguing and dynamic tale.

Best Laid Plans is an action packed story that keeps you guessing as to whom the stalker really is. I like a story that does not reveal who the antagonist is too early on and makes you reason it out, and even throws you a few false possibilities. Best Laid Plans does not disappoint on this front, it also does not disappoint in the sensual scenes between Tessa and Zander. The story also helps to point out that keeping secrets can sometime just confuse things more than keep others safe. I found this story thoroughly enjoyable and will look for others by this author.

Just like the poem, Tessa and Zander’s BEST LAID PLANS do not work out the way they expect. Both characters have traumatic experiences in their pasts that make each of them believe that a future between them is impossible. Tessa and Zander are the best of friends, and both are aware of the attraction they feel for the other, but their respective pasts are holding them back. The fake relationship quickly becomes more, though neither is willing to admit as much. The stalker angle ups the stakes for both Tessa and Zander, and the stalker escalates his threats very quickly, giving the story an edge of suspense. A riveting tale, be sure to look for BEST LAID PLANS.

I felt compassion for both characters. Knowing Zander’s past and his need to protect, I especially felt for him. But I couldn’t blame Tessa with her thoughts and actions of blocking Zander out either; with her past, it was very realistic. This makes the budding relationship between the two all the more gratifying. Zander’s and Tessa’s friends know they are right for each other before either can admit their feelings, and keep pushing them together. They are the kind of friends everyone wishes they had. Everything about this book was great and I recommend you pick it up today! Ms. Green does it again, but better than ever! BEST LAID PLANS is a stirring, appealing, comedic, sensual read. I loved it! I finished it in one sitting, and then went back to re-read some of my favorite parts a few days later. Ms. Green was able to take two highly sensitive subjects that will push your emotions through the wringer and still have you squirming in your seat with arousal. That is great story-telling at work!

Ms. Green has created a tale that leaves you on the edge of your seat with the tension between Tessa and Zander. BEST LAID PLANS is not a quick feel-good fun-read; instead you get so much more. It is a serious romance with just the right amount of excitement and mystery. It will leave you wanting more and unable to put the book down until it is done.
